The AI for Science program launched its inaugural cohort in September 2023 and is designed as a fully residential, one-year taught Master’s degree, which also integrates a research component. Eligibility Criteria
- Applicants must be residents of Africa at the time of application*
- They should hold citizenship of any African country
- A completed undergraduate degree of four years or a three-year degree supplemented by an honours year is required by August 2025; however, applicants from Southern Africa may have a deadline until December 2025 (further details can be found in the FAQ)
- Previous recipients of scholarships to study at any AIMS centre are ineligible to apply
*The residency requirement means applicants must physically reside in Africa when submitting their application.
Scholarship Benefits
