Through the Lights on Women initiative, the Florence School of Regulation is supporting women professionals working towards a sustainable, diverse, resilient, and just energy transition by offering 𝟲 scholarships to those contributing to innovative solutions, research, and initiatives across the energy sector.
The selected recipients will receive free access to one FSR online community training courses starting in Fall 2026.
Overview
The Florence School of Regulation Energy launches its 8th Lights on Women Scholarships under the Lights on Women initiative.
The 2026 edition of the scholarship will offer 6 free seats to FSR community courses to women contributing to innovative solutions, research, and initiatives that accelerate a sustainable, diverse, resilient, and just energy transition.

- Regulation of the Power Sector
- Evolution of Electricity Markets in Europe
- EU Gas Network Codes
- Sustainable and Smart Cities
- Getting to Net-Zero
1 out of 6 seats are kindly offered by the Lights on Women donors: Edison
Kindly note that the 2027 Courses Portfolio is not yet confirmed. Should you be awarded a scholarship for a course scheduled in 2027, and that course is paused or discontinued, you will be offered the possibility to select an alternative course from the FSR Community catalogue.

What is Offered
Course offering: the Scholarship provides free access to one of the FSR community courses starting in Fall 2026. The training portfolio includes courses that will provide you with the technical knowledge needed to take advantage of employment and leadership opportunities.
- Join the Lights on Women network: the Scholarship recipients will join a community of like-minded women who wish to make a difference.
- Visibility opportunities: each recipient will be featured in the ‘Meet the Recipients’ article and will be invited to publish an article on a topic of their expertise on the Lights on Women blog.

Background
Florence School of Regulation knows that having varied perspectives helps generate innovative ideas to solve the complex energy problems in our changing—and increasingly complex—world.
For this reason, no specific academic or professional background is required. The scholarship is open to women professionals from all over the world at all seniority levels.
