- Recipients must also promptly inform the SFO of any additional financial support they obtain for their studies, whether received before or after the scholarship award.
Selection Process
The scholarships are awarded primarily based on demonstrated financial need. Applicants who are shortlisted will be asked to provide supporting financial documentation, typically around mid-May 2026, to verify their eligibility.
How to Apply
Applications for the UCL Global Undergraduate Scholarship will open later in the application cycle. To apply, you must first have submitted your undergraduate admission application to UCL for the 2026/27 academic year. While an offer of admission is not required to apply for the scholarship, your overseas fee status must be confirmed by UCL Admissions—this can occur shortly after you apply or just before an offer is made.
If you are unable to access the scholarship application form, it may be because your admission status has not yet been finalized. To avoid delays, it is recommended to apply for admission well before the scholarship deadline.
Should you be eligible but still unable to access the application form two weeks prior to the deadline, you are advised to contact the Student Funding Office (SFO) immediately. They will provide an alternative application form to ensure you can submit your application on time. It is imperative to apply early as late or incomplete applications will not be considered under any circumstances.
