Applications are currently being accepted for the 2025 edition of the Blossom Academy Code4FoodSecurity Fellowship Program. This fully funded fellowship, a collaboration between Blossom Academy and the World Food Programme (WFP), offers a comprehensive 5-month training designed to equip 70 selected fellows with expertise in harnessing Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Machine Learning (ML) for advancing Food Systems and Agricultural Innovation.

The program is dedicated to empowering professionals from a variety of disciplines, with a strong emphasis on inclusivity, encouraging applications from women and individuals with disabilities. Participants will gain highly sought-after technical skills alongside hands-on experience by engaging in practical projects. The overarching goal is to foster long-lasting, sustainable advancements in agriculture while nurturing innovation and promoting diversity throughout the African continent.

Program Details

  • Duration: 5 months, running from January to May 2026
  • Format: Virtual learning sessions held Monday through Wednesday, complemented by in-person gatherings on Thursdays

Eligibility Criteria

  • Age Range: Applicants must be between 18 and 35 years old
  • Residency: Must reside in Accra, Ghana
  • Equipment: A functional laptop is required to participate
  • Commitment: Ability to fully engage with the program schedule and activities
