The University of the Arts London (UAL) is pleased to announce the availability of the 2026/27 International Postgraduate Scholarships. These scholarships provide a substantial tuition fee discount of £10,000 for students enrolled in either full-time or part-time taught master's degree courses offered by UAL’s diverse Colleges and Institutes.
For the academic year 2026/27, there are up to 288 scholarships on offer, aiming to support outstanding international postgraduate students in pursuing advanced studies at UAL.
Who Can Apply? Eligibility Requirements
- Course Offer: Applicants must have an offer to commence a full-time or part-time taught master’s degree program at one of UAL’s Colleges or Institutes in the 2026/27 academic year. Eligible qualifications include Graduate Diplomas, M ARCH, MA, MFA, MBA, MRes, or MSc courses. Please note that courses delivered via UAL Online are excluded from this scholarship.
- Previous Qualifications: Candidates who already hold a UK postgraduate taught qualification (or an equivalent qualification earned through UK study) are not eligible to apply.
- Tuition Fee Status: Applicants must be classified under the Overseas tuition fee category.
- Academic Achievement: A minimum academic standard equivalent to an upper second-class honours degree (2:1) or higher is required. Recognised equivalent qualifications will also be accepted. Applicants must submit transcript evidence to verify their qualifications. If results are pending, documented proof of predicted grades should accompany the application. Final confirmation of achieved grades must be submitted once results are released to secure the scholarship.

- Describe how your accomplishments and experiences, both academic and extracurricular, qualify you for this scholarship.
- Explain how the qualification you plan to pursue will support your future career or aspirations.
- Outline the contributions you intend to make to university life during your studies.
- Reflect on how being part of the UAL community will assist you in achieving your professional goals.

Notification and Scholarship Acceptance
If your application is successful, UAL will send an award letter via email. To confirm acceptance of the scholarship, you will need to log in and accept the offer through the UAL Portal.
The £10,000 scholarship will be applied as a tuition fee waiver on your student account for the first year of your studies. For those enrolled in part-time or extended full-time courses, if the award amount exceeds the first-year tuition fees, the remaining balance will be credited towards fees for the second year of study.
Additional Information
- The selection process is managed by a dedicated UAL panel, which reviews all applications based on the evidence and responses provided.
- If you receive offers from multiple UAL courses and are awarded a scholarship, the award applies to the course you choose to accept.
- Applicants can only hold one UAL scholarship or award at a time. If you are offered more than one, you must select which to accept.
