This prestigious Japan–Africa (TICAD) Scholarship provides exceptionally talented African graduates with an opportunity to earn a fully funded Master’s degree at E-JUST, one of Egypt’s premier research universities inspired by Japanese academic and technological excellence.

Who Is Eligible?

• Candidates should be researchers, lecturers, or individuals anticipated to become such professionals, seeking to obtain an M.Sc. degree in Science, Engineering, or related fields.
• Applicants must hold citizenship in any African country except Egypt.
• The applicant’s current permanent residence must be within an African nation.
• Military personnel are not eligible to apply.
• Applicants must meet all the university’s admission criteria and successfully pass both an academic interview and oral examination.
• Preference is given to candidates who plan to continue their careers at their home universities or institutions after completing their postgraduate studies at E-JUST. Such applicants must obtain an endorsement from their home institution on the application form, confirming their commitment to return and contribute to their organization post-graduation.

Duration and Terms of the Scholarship

Note that this scholarship is designed for full-time study. Scholars must dedicate their efforts exclusively to their academic responsibilities at E-JUST and are prohibited from engaging in employment outside the university during the scholarship period.
