How to Apply
To be considered for this prestigious scholarship, candidates must first submit a standard application to any of the available Master’s programs at the Academy. Once your Master’s application is completed, the next step involves sending the following documents directly to the respective program coordinator:

- Proof of proficiency in the German language

The Young Industry Leaders’ Scholarship
In today’s fast-evolving landscape, the fields of digital transformation, automation, and energy management are more critical than ever. The Master-in-Energy programs hosted at the EUREF-Campus Düsseldorf, generously supported by Schneider Electric, equip students with cutting-edge expertise in energy management and digitalization. Recipients of these scholarships are trained to become Young Industry Leaders, prepared to play pivotal roles in advancing today’s industrial sectors.
The scholarships are available for applicants admitted to one of the following Master’s programs:
- Master of Science in Management of Smart and Sustainable Energy Systems
- Master of Science in Sustainable Energy and Hydrogen Infrastructures

Scholarship Benefits

Eligibility and Selection Criteria
Applicants must meet the following requirements to qualify for the scholarship:
- Successful completion of the selection process for one of the specified MSc programs
- A strong academic record in a technical discipline such as electrical engineering, energy engineering, energy management systems, mechanical engineering, automation, process engineering, building technology, sustainability, or related fields
- A minimum of one year of relevant postgraduate professional experience, including roles in sales, project management, business development, or service, which are highly valued
- Proficiency in German at the time of application, with a minimum level of B1 or B2, along with a commitment to ongoing language improvement
- Flexibility and readiness to work across Germany, Austria, or Switzerland after graduation, ideally in customer-facing or service-oriented positions
- A keen interest in sustainability and a genuine digital mindset
- Strong intellectual curiosity, analytical skills, a community-oriented approach, and alignment with Schneider Electric’s IMPACT values

In addition to your regular MSc application, please submit the following to the program coordinator via the contact email provided on the program’s webpage:

- Your curriculum vitae (CV)
- Proof of German language proficiency
Note that the scholarship selection involves multiple stages. Final decisions will be communicated approximately two weeks following the last round of online interviews with Schneider Electric, scheduled for March or April 2026.
