Since its inception in 2004, the TotalEnergies International Scholarship (TIS) has proudly supported over 151 Nigerian students to pursue master’s level education at various universities in France, showcasing the remarkable opportunities available for ambitious youth from Africa’s most populous nation.
This scholarship is aimed specifically at Nigerian postgraduate candidates who aspire to undertake master’s degree studies in French universities. Each year, TotalEnergies partners with NNPC Limited along with other corporate collaborators to identify and financially back promising Nigerian scholars interested in advanced degree programs specializing in Management Science, Engineering, and Geosciences, particularly those fields related to oil and gas. Furthermore, applicants who have secured admission to public universities in France may have an added advantage during the selection process.

Eligibility Criteria
- Applicants must hold a university degree with a minimum classification of Second Class Upper (2:1).
- The degree must have been obtained within the last five years.
- Completion of the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) program is mandatory for all candidates.
