Applications are currently being accepted for the 2026 edition of the Schneider Electric Young Industry Leaders’ Scholarship Program. This initiative focuses on the critical themes of Digital Transformation, Automation, and Energy Management—topics that are central to the rapidly evolving global landscape. The energy sector today faces a significant paradox: soaring energy demands must be balanced with the urgent necessity to reduce CO2 emissions. Addressing this challenge requires adopting far more efficient and sustainable methods of energy consumption.

Through the Master-in-Energy programs hosted at the innovative EUREF-Campus Düsseldorf and generously supported by Schneider Electric, students gain the chance to become proficient experts in energy management and digitalization. This scholarship program is designed to nurture the next generation of Young Industry Leaders, equipping them to assume pivotal roles in modern industrial environments.

Scholarships are awarded exclusively to candidates admitted to one of the following Master of Science programs:

During the course of your studies, you will have the unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience by working directly at the intersection of customer needs and cutting-edge technology within various departments at Schneider Electric. This practical exposure allows you to apply newly acquired academic knowledge in a real-world corporate setting, influencing your professional trajectory right from the start.

Eligibility and Selection Criteria

  • Successful completion of the admission process for one of the specified MSc programs mentioned above.
  • Outstanding academic achievements in a relevant technical discipline such as electrical engineering, energy engineering, energy management systems, mechanical engineering, automation, process engineering, building technology, sustainability, or related fields.
  • A minimum of one year of relevant postgraduate professional experience. Experience in sales, project management, business development, or service roles is particularly valued.
  • Proficiency in the German language at the time of application, with at least a B1 or B2 level certification, alongside a demonstrated commitment to further improve language skills.
  • Flexibility and readiness to work across various locations in Germany, Austria, or Switzerland following graduation, preferably in roles that involve direct customer interaction or service functions.
  • A genuine passion for sustainability, complemented by a strong digital mindset.
  • Curiosity and strong analytical skills, a community-oriented attitude, and alignment with Schneider Electric’s IMPACT values.

Scholarship Benefits

Recipients of this award will receive a full scholarship covering 100% of tuition fees. Additionally, scholars will be offered a paid working student contract with Schneider Electric, permitting up to 20 hours of work per week during their studies.

Application and Selection Process

Applicants must submit the following documents alongside their regular MSc program applications:

  • A motivation letter addressed specifically to Schneider Electric.
  • An up-to-date curriculum vitae (CV).
  • Proof of German language proficiency.

The selection process for the scholarship is multi-staged. Final decisions will be communicated approximately two weeks after the concluding online interview rounds with Schneider Electric, scheduled for March or April 2026.
