Applications are now open for the 2026 Globethics’ Emerging Leaders in Ethical AI Governance Fellowship. Globethics’ Emerging Leaders in Ethical AI Governance Fellowship is a competitive international programme designed for early-career professionals working in academia, government, civil society, and the private sector. The fellowship equips participants with the skills, networks, and practical experience needed to advance ethical, inclusive, and values-driven AI governance in diverse societal and interfaith contexts.

Eligibility Criteria

This fellowship is designed for early-career professionals aged 24–35 from diverse sectors:

Eligible backgrounds include:

  • Civil society and interfaith organisations
  • Academia (Master’s, PhD, postdoctoral researchers)
  • Government and public sector institutions
  • Private sector (AI, tech, ethics, compliance, innovation)

Applicants should demonstrate:

  • Active engagement in AI ethics, governance, or responsible innovation
  • Ability to develop a research, policy, or applied project
  • Interest in intercultural or interfaith dialogue

No religious affiliation is required
